Effect of IFT with Anterior Glide versus Posterior Glide Joint Mobilisation Technique on Shoulder External Rotation Rom in Patients with Adhesive Capsulitis: Comparative Study

چکیده

Background: Adhesive capsulitis is a clinical diagnosis made from history of the gradual onset severe shoulderpain with progressive limitation active and passive glenohumeral movements. The most significant loss ofmovement in external rotation joint. Traditionally physical therapists have used an anterior glide ofthe humeral head on glenoid technique to improve range motion choice based ‘convexon concave’ concept joint surface motion.Aim & objective study: To compare effect IFT versus posterior jointmobilization shoulder ROM patients adhesive capsulitis.Data Analysis Results: This study results shows that there statistically improvement thevariables pain disability index (SPADI) Shoulder External Rotation between pre postmean values both control experimental group p<0.05. Post mean SPADI ShoulderExternal degrees p p<0.05 Control when compared Experimental Group. Conclusion: concluded Interferential therapy reducethe capsulitis. Meanwhile, interferentialtherapy more effective than interferential reducing thepain improving

The effects of Anterior versus Posterior Glide joint Mobilization in Improving Functional Activity of the shoulder in Patients with adhesive capsulitis

Primary adhesive capsulitis is a term used to describe an insidious onset of pain and movement restriction in the glenohumeral joint. The objective of this study is to compare the effectiveness of anterior versus posterior glide mobilization techniques for improving functional activity of the shoulder in patients with adhesive Capsulitis. In this study a total number of 20 subjects were randoml...

The Effects of Photobiomodulation on Shoulder Pain, Muscle Thickness, and Function in Subjects With Adhesive Capsulitis

Background: Adhesive capsulitis or frozen shoulder is among the most prevalent causes of pain and disability in individuals. Objectives: We aimed to evaluate the effect of Photobiomodulation (PBM) on pain, range of motion, and thickness and function of supraspinatus muscle in patients with adhesive capsulitis. Materials & Methods: Overall, 52 subjects (n=26/group) with adhesive capsulitis r...
